How to Redeem Your Minecraft Cape

Redeeming a code takes less than two minutes. Codes purchased on CapesVault are 100% unredeemed, official digital keys that you activate directly into your own Microsoft account.

01

Open the Official Redemption Portal

Navigate to the official Microsoft / Minecraft redemption page at minecraft.net/redeem. Always make sure you are on the legitimate minecraft.net domain.

02

Sign in to Your Microsoft Account

Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns your Minecraft copy (Java or Bedrock). Never share your password or let anyone else sign in for you.

03

Paste Your 25-Character Cape Code

Scroll down to the 'Redeem Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition' or 'Redeem Cape' section. Copy the clean digital code delivered to your email from CapesVault and paste it into the field.

04

Claim Code & Equip in Wardrobe

Click 'Submit' or 'Claim Code'. The cape is immediately and permanently bound to your account profile. Open the Minecraft Launcher, head to Skins/Dressing Room, and toggle your new cape on!

Security & Zero Risk Guarantee

We strictly enforce a zero password policy. You will never be asked for your Microsoft credentials, email passwords, or remote login tokens. You receive an unredeemed 25-character digital code that only you redeem on Microsoft's verified servers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to give CapesVault my Minecraft login details?

Absolutely not. CapesVault only delivers a digital code to your email. You redeem the code yourself directly on the official Minecraft website while signed into your own account.

Does the cape show up on both Java and Bedrock Edition?

Yes. All modern official Minecraft cape codes (like the 15th Anniversary, Followers, Purple Heart, Copper, and Experience capes) are unified and automatically unlock in both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition under your linked Microsoft account.

Why doesn't the cape appear in my game right away?

If your Minecraft Launcher was open during redemption, simply restart the launcher and game client. On Java Edition, go to 'Skins', edit your skin, and enable the cape toggle under 'Cape'. On Bedrock Edition, open the 'Dressing Room' > 'Capes'.

Is the cape permanent on my account?

Yes, 100% permanent. Once claimed on the official Microsoft portal, the cosmetic item remains in your account inventory forever, just like a digital game license.
